Delicious & Easy Veg Sandwich Recipe



A veg sandwich is a quik, healthy and tasty meal option, perfect for breakfast, lunch or a light snack. Packed with fresh vegetables and flavorful seasonings, this sandwich is both nutritious and satisfying.

Ingredients:

For the Sandwich,

. 4 slices of whole wheat or multigrain bread

. 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced

. 1/2 cup tomato, thinly sliced

. 1/2 cup bell peppers (red, green, yellow) thinly sliced

. 1/2 cup grated carrots (optional)

. 2 lettuce leaves or spinach leaves

For the Spread:

. 2 tbsp mayonnaise or hung curd (for a healthy option)

. 1 tbsp mustard sauce (optional)

. 1 tbsp butter or olive oil for tosting

. 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder

. 1/2 tbsp chaat masala or oregano

. Salt to taste

Instructions:

Step 1 : Prepare the Spread

. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise or hung curd with black pepper, cheet masala and salt

. Optionally, add musted sauce for an extra zing

Step 2 : Assemble the Sandwich

. Spread a generous layer of the prepared spread on one side of each bread slice

. Place a lettuce or spinach leaf on teo of the slices

. Layer cucumber, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and grated carrots over the leaf

. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper for extra flavor

. Cover with the remaining bread slices, spread side down

Step 3 : Toast or Grill (Optional)

. Heat a pan or sandwich maker and apply butter or olive oil

. Toast the sandwich until golden brown and crispy on both sides

. Alternatively, you can grill the sandwich for a smoky flavor

Step 4 : Serve and Enjoy

. Cut sandwich diagonally and serve with ketchup, green chutney or a side of coleslaw

. Cheesy Version: Add a slice of cheese or grated cheese for extra indulgence

.Spicy Twist: Spread green chutney or add sliced jalapenos for more heat
