Creamy Mushroom Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
. 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
. 1 small onion, finely chopped
. 2 cloves garlic, minced

. 4 cups (1 liter) vegetable or chiccken broth
. 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream or whole milk
. 1 tbsp fresh thyme or 1/2 tbsp dried thyme
. Salt and pepper to taste
. 1 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
. 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)
. Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1 : Saute the Aromatics
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and saute until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant
